5 Tips for Parents During School Break
The winter break is here, and then a lot of excitement in the air as the school semester ends.
Winter breaks are very special time of the year because it gives parents the opportunity to reconnect with the kids. Just like anything in life, having a plan and help you get the most out of this break.

Tip #1: Maintain a healthy sleep pattern
Although it’s very easy to get carried away and and stay up late at night then sleep until late hours of the afternoon, however remember that growing kids need to maintain a healthy circadian sleep cycle. Well rested kids are less irritable which means there will be less noise and more fun.
Tip #2: Make a list of activities ahead of time
Suppose you are with the kids and they want to do something interesting, in most situations you’ll spend an hour trying to figure out what it is that you want to do, and by the time you figure something out it would already be too late. That’s why you can can plan ahead and make a simple list of things that you would like to do. So the next time you are bored and want to do something all you need to do is look at the list of activities.
Tip #3: Get kids involved with you in planning if you are going on a trip
Lots of families and trips during the winter break. If you are planning a trip then yeah get the kids involved with your packing. The goal is to have fun with the kids, so engage your kids in a discussion on what to pack and why we should pack it.
Tip #4: Make the most of your lazy days
A break is supposed to help you and your kids wind down. Lazy days are an excellent opportunity to do any activity that helps you bond with your kids. Go ahead and make a few memories, remember that life has no rewind button.
