Q: What is the Lincoln Method grant subsidy program?
A: We believe that every individual has the right to advance their education regardless of their social-economic status. This is why Lincoln Method offers a subsidized education of any of our courses. This subsidy is offered in the form of a grant, which is used to help learners advance and reach their learning potential.
Q: Why does Lincoln Method provide grants?
A: Our goal is to promote learner achievement and assist in the preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring access to quality education. We also desire to improve educational outcomes for all learners who cannot afford our services, particularly those at risk of failure.
Q: Who is eligible for a Lincoln Method subsidy of its courses through a grant?
A: The following are eligible for our grant:
Q: Is a grant provided in the form of cash?
A: The grant is a subsidy on any of our existing courses (in some cases it could be for courses that are customized specifically for a group of learners). In order to avoid and misuse, deceit and abuse of our resources, the grant is not offered in the form of cash.
Q: Can the grant be used for courses outside Lincoln Method?
A: Since Lincoln Method follows a specific technique of helping individuals learn, the grant cannot be used outside the Lincoln Method.
Q: What is the minimum and the maximum amount of subsidies offered through Lincoln Method’s grant?
A: Lincoln Method grant can be used to subsidize the courses. The grant ranges from $150 to $15,000 in subsidies.
Q: Can an organization who has received the grant package it with other products and services that they offer?
A: If the grant subsidy has been provided to an organization they can bundle it with their existing service offerings and price their bundle however they choose. This allows the organization to maintain their autonomy while at the same time enjoy the subsidy that we are offering on our courses.
Q: Does the subsidy make the course free (no cost)?
A: Lincoln Method believes in increasing education equity through a process of inclusion. We also believe that unless the learner contributes towards a part of the cost of the education that they are going to receive, there will be very little incentive for the learner to complete their course. This is why we we allow the grant to be used as a limited subsidy for each learner, and insist that the course not be completely free. Each learner can receive a subsidy of a maximum of 65% of the cost of the course. The learner (are the sponsor organization receiving the subsidy) must pay a part of the fee for the course.
Q: What is the validity period of the subsidy offered to the grant?
A: Each subsidy offered through the grant needs to be consumed within 180 days from the date it was issued. Once the grant period (180 days), has expired, is no longer valid for additional subsidies. The learner or the organization can apply for an extension however Lincoln Method reserves the right to approve the extension.
Q: Is a subsidy offered through a grant, the same as a scholarship?
A: Subsidies offered through grants can differ from scholarships because grants are primarily awarded based on financial need rather than academic performance.
Q: Under what conditions can the entire subsidy of the grant, and/or the entire grant be revoked?
A: Although our philosophy is to always help learners advance, however there are certain situations when a grant might be revoked because of the following reasons:
The subsidy provided through the grant is a privilege that is being extended to the receiver. Lincoln Method reserves the right to revoke all privileges of the grant at any point in time.
The subsidy program (in its parts, or as a whole) is not an obligation made by Lincoln Method.
Lincoln Method reserves the right to change the terms of the subsidy program.
